THE SITE: This lovely parcel of land is situated within ½ of a mile of the village with direct frontage to a council maintained road. Being totally flat, this would be an ideal field to develop subject to necessary planning consents. The lands were situated within the Oughterard development centre which expired in 2012 but the auctioneers understand it would still be zoned as development land.
The site occupies an area of 0.17 hectares (0.42 acres) of grazing lands which is enclosed by a combination of stone wall boundary circa 33 metres in length with metal gate and purpose built access to the front. To the north and east, the boundaries are of post and wire fencing and currently stock proof. The southern boundary is of concrete block construction and creates the boundary to another habited residence.
