This unique vacation rental is on the edge of Connemara's majestic Killary Fjord, on the Wild Atlantic, and just outside the scenic and picturesque village of Leenane in Connemara. The lodge features a bespoke fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area. A stylish lounge opens out onto an extensive outdoor area, complete with outdoor seating and two fire pits, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and sea - the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down, surrounded by nature. Each of the ten spacious ensuite bedrooms is individually designed with bespoke features. If you need a bit of time out, you can curl up with a good book in one of our funky reading nooks. The lodge also has a large conference room/studio that can be customised to your needs - perfect as a conference room, yoga studio, or workshop space - opening out onto an outdoor workspace. You will be welcomed and provided with keys on arrival and will have access to the whole building for the duration of your stay. There will always be someone on hand to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate to ask. The Lodge is situated in a nature lover's paradise. There are numerous walks and hikes nearby, in the mountains, through forests, trails and beaches, as well as endless cycling routes and lots of swimming options, both in the fjord and at nearby beaches. Connemara National Park is 15km away. ADD ON’S TO YOUR STAY AT THE KILLARY LODGE Killary Fjord Sauna & Wild Swimming Experience: Our architecturally designed Scandinavian sauna is available exclusively to Lodgeguests and can be booked for a 2-hour session (€250).Longer sessions can also be arranged for larger groups to ensure everyone has time to relax and enjoy the experience. Adventure Activities at Killary: If you are looking for adventure, you are in the right place. Killary Adventure Co. offer a whole range of activities onsite from kayaking to archery, paintballing to rock-climbing, gorge walking to bog swimming, all available to book seven days a week (activities available will vary during the winter months). Regular boat trips on the fjord are also available to book. Catering at Killary Lodge: The Lodge is available on a self-catering basis or can be fully staffed with catering provided. We work with the award winning Misunderstood Heron who offer catering options for groups staying in the Lodge. Just contact us to discuss your requirements. Pricing: The Killary Lodge is available on a self-catering, exclusive-use basis at a nightly rate for up to 20 guests: Low season €1,595 per night Mid Season €1,695 per night High Season €1,795 per night Additional guests are charged at €30 per person per night. Children under 2 years are free of charge. A cleaning fee of €570 per stay applies. A €2,000 security deposit is pre-authorised on a credit card before arrival and is fully refundable once the property is returned in the same clean, undamaged condition.
