The lodge features a bespoke fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area. A stylish lounge opens out onto an extensive outdoor area, complete with outdoor seating and two fire pits, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and sea - the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down, surrounded by nature. Each of the ten spacious ensuite bedrooms is individually designed with bespoke features. If you need a bit of time out, you can curl up with a good book in one of our funky reading nooks. The lodge also has a large conference room/studio that can be customised to your needs - perfect as a conference room, yoga studio, or workshop space - opening out onto an outdoor workspace. The Lodge is situated in a nature lover's paradise. There are numerous walks and hikes nearby, in the mountains, through forests, trails and beaches, as well as endless cycling routes and lots of swimming options, both in the fjord and at nearby beaches. Connemara National Park is 15km away. If you are looking for adventure, you are in the right place. Killary Adventure Centre is just a 10-minute walk away, offering a whole range of activities from kayaking to archery, paintballing to rock-climbing, gorge walking to bog swimming, all available to book seven days a week (activities available will vary during the winter months). Regular boat trips on the fjord are also available to book. Also on-site is the Misunderstood Heron - an award-winning food truck serving up great coffee and freshly made, locally sourced food, all day. The Lodge is available on a self-catering basis or can be fully staffed with catering provided. Just contact us to discuss your requirements. You will be welcomed and provided with keys on arrival and will have access to the whole building for the duration of your stay. There will always be someone on hand to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate to ask.
