Amongst the Birch/Ash/Alder/Willow riparian woodland in 1997 and â€™98 the owners, with neighbours help, planted many broadleaf trees grown from native Irish stock with a view to attract and retain wild animals. Over 100 trees are now well established including Irish Black Poplar, Purging Buckthorn, Field Maple, Hazel and Oak to name but a few.
