The vendors review below highlights their fondness of their property and its location:
"We've had a fantastic sixteen years here in Gibletstown. Nature floats our boat and we've had birds such as woodpeckers, tree-creepers, bullfinch and jay with hares, hedgehogs and lots more enjoying the wild patches. We put in native hedgerow shrubs such as spindle, sweet-briar rose, hawthorn, guelder-rose, holly and alder buckthorn. We've made a meadow out of the side garden and each spring we had cowslips and primroses there, in summer the pollinators found more wildflowers like yellow-rattle, selfheal, scabious and crane's-bill and it fairly buzzed. It's a super location, with Blackhall Strand good for swimming, Kilmore Quay great for fresh fish and Tintern Abbey only twenty minutes away for a stroll in the woods and a coffee. We will be sad to leave but now is the right time for us. We wish the new owners a happy life in Percy Cottage".
