Lakeview Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom holiday home located in the popular seaside resort of Narin in South West Donegal. The cottage is situated in a quiet cul de sac just over 100 metres from the shores of Clooney Lake. There are lovely views to the front of the cottage towards the lake.
The 4 bedroom holiday home is a modern and well established cottage located in the grounds of the Lake House Hotel. With all modern conviencies. The cottage overlooks Clooney Lake with Narin Portnoo golf club in the distance. Narin strand is 7mins away and is a blue flag beach. At low tide the historic island of Inishkeel can be reached on foot with about 2 hrs exploring time in the island before the tide covers the sand at the entrance point.
The 3 bedroom twin houses are on an elevated site with panoramic views over Narin beach and golf course and in the distance Aranmore Island. They are furnished to a high standard and fitted with modern conviences with central heating and open fire in living areas. There is off road parking.
There is much to see and do in the area as the holiday homes are near to Glenties town and the Hertiage town of Ardara. Donegal town and Killybegs port are well worth a visit. Plenty of entertainment locally with historic places to visit. The Dolmen at Kilclooney is one of the best preserved Portal tombs in the country. The structure dates from around 3500BC . A visit to the ancient circular stone fortress in the middle of the lake at Lough Doon is a must - the wall of the fortress is 2 thousand yrs old and can be reached by boat. Between Clooney Lake and the shores of the beautiful Gweebarra Bay are two of the finest tourist amenities in South West Donegal â€“ the fabulous Blue Flag Narin Strand and the wonderful Narin and Portnoo Golf course.
