The nightly rate does also not include our concierge fee.** Overview If you are looking for a raw farmhouse experience to finish that creative project surrounded by pastoral landscapes then this is the house for you! This light filled 3-bedroom traditional Irish farmhouse is nestled in the heart of farming country approximately 8.7kms from Dingle town. All the large period windows look onto rolling countryside and every window captures a different view. There are also some neighbours nearby so you will not be lonely. The property may equally suit a small family or a few friends that appreciate going for long country lane walks by day knowing that the buzz of Dingle is just a drive or taxi ride away for unbeatable day or nighttime entertainment. Bedrooms All bedrooms are on the second floor of the farmhouse. To the front of the house there is a large double bedroom to the left-hand side at the top of the staircase. To the front of the house there is a small bunk bedroom to the right-hand side of the staircase. To the rear of the property there is a further spacious double bedroom that has a bunk bed overhead. This bedroom could comfortably sleep three people. Bathrooms Directly opposite the rear master bedroom on the second floor there is an eclectic master bathroom with WC, hand basic, plenty of counter space for toiletries and a very spacious walk in shower. There is a cloakroom WC and hand basin on the ground floor located just inside the back door. Living Area There is a very cosy living room with a funky blue functioning wood burning stove that is just ideal for a rainy day. The room boasts a three-seater and two-seater sofa, coffee table, side table, bookcases and TV. There is a Samsung Smart TV and wifi. This room would work for a single, couple or if you are a family group it could be used as a kids play area while you entertain in the farmhouse kitchen. The front window of this room looks out onto the simple grounds and mature planting beyond. The rear large window of this same room looks onto changing pastoral view with very majestic mountains in the distance. Kitchen Like most Irish farmhouses the kitchen is the soul of the house. There is a corner style kitchen with a hand painted work top area complimented by an oil-fired range for cooking those hotpots. For those wanting to unleash the creative within this room could lend itself to becoming the base room in the house for that project. There is also a very comfortable two-seater sofa in this room allowing a guest to chat to you while cooking or indeed it may be the ideal spot for siesta time! Dining Area There is a sweet cushion filled 'wood cabin' style built in seating area at the dining table with three separate old style farmhouse chairs. The dining table area could comfortably seat six people Access The property has a small lane style drive that leads to a small parking area. This is located on the right-hand side of the property. It is an ideal parking place to bring in the shopping. There is room for two cars in this area. There is also a storage shed in this and a spacious simple back garden for kids to play outside or indeed to enjoy lunch or dinner al fresco on the decked area overlooking the mountains and Dingle in the distance. Inch beach is 16.5kms away. Pubs/Restaurants/Shops There are no pubs are within walking distance but you are only 10.4kms to Anascaul where you have a cafe, pubs, butcher and small grocery store. This village is very well known for the South Pole Inn Pub/Restaurant. The renowned Irish Antarctic explorer Tom Crean hailed from the village and opened this pub with his wife in 1927. Over 90 years on the pub still offers a unique and cosy welcome. Check out the window to the Antarctic (ask the barman). For your daily needs there is a mini market in the rural village of Lispole which is only 2 kms away. For a huge variety of cafes, restaurants and music venues Dingle is only 8.7kms away. The stunning Slea head drive is approx 16.5kms from the farmhouse. Kerry Airport 50km (approx). 2 night minimum stay every month excluding Christmas/ New Years, Easter, July and August.
