250 year old fine country house Flemingstown House is set in the unspoiled Irish rural setting of a secluded 130 private estate in South County Limerick, two miles from the medieval market town of Kilmallock and within easy reach of both Cork and Limerick.
The house welcomes you into an elegantly appointed classic drawing room with wood-burning stove, antique seating and furniture and large windows with peaceful garden views.
Lunches and dinners can be enjoyed in the formal dining room with its bright and airy dÃ©cor and gorgeous stained glass windows, while the Entrance Hall and the Parlour offer ideal quite corners, perfect to unwind after a busy day of touring the area.
Move with the sun to the welcoming afternoon room with double doors opening out to the gorgeous garden.
As with every country house, the heart of Flemingstown house is its well-equipped, busy kitchen featuring a wide range of high quality equipment and also a large dining table.
When the day comes to an end, you'll be looking forward to retire into one of the elegant and comfortable bedrooms with their antique furnishings and exquisite fabrics. Equipped with all the modern amenities, the five bedrooms still retain the distinct charm of a Country House and have been individually styled with a character all of its own.
The house is let on a self catering basis, but extra staff can be organised for your stay should you wish. Also within the grounds is a self-catering cottage that can be hired individually or in conjunction with the house, it caters for 4 people.
