Ideal Base to Explore the Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas
The cottage is just over 2km from the centre of Milford. Milford is well served with shops, pubs and cafes. Just a few kilometres outside Milford is Lough Fern - a renowned fishing lake. The cottage is also just 3km from the coastal village of Kerykeel and the Rockhill Holiday & Activity Park which features climbing walls, water walkers, slides, rodeo bull, bungee trampolines, indoor cars, soft play areas and loads and loads of bouncy castles. The Blue Flag Beach and the fabulous 18 hole golf course at Portsalon are just 12km from the front door of the cottage. Other highlights on the Fanad Peninsula include the Great Pollet Arch, Ballyhiernan Beach and Fanad Lighthouse - a Signature Point on Irelands Wild Atlantic Way.
The Rosguill Peninsula is also easily accessible from the cottage either via Milford or the Harry Blaney Bridge. Highlights on this peninsula include the coastal resorts of Carrigart and Downings, the superb Rosapenna Golf Resort and the very scenic Atlantic Drive.
