Description

The property is a substantial land holding extending to approximately 17 hectares (42 acres) that has the benefit of considerable frontage to two roads. There is approximately 600m of road frontage along the northern boundary while there is just under 300m of road frontage along the southern boundary. The land, which is currently laid out in pasture, is top quality agricultural farmland and comprises a number of smaller parcels of land with mature trees and hedgerows acting as natural boundaries. Directions

The subject land is situated in the townland of Ballysheehy in Clogheen and is approximately a 10 minutes drive north-west of Cork City Centre and a 5 minute drive south-east of Blarney. While the area has a semi-rural feel, given the mature agricultural setting encompassing the land, its strategic location provides ease of access to Cork’s main infrastructural network. The N22, the main Cork to Kerry route, is located a mere 3km south of the subject lands while, the main Cork to Limerick route, is located 9km north of the lands via Blarney or Blackpool. Apple's European HQ which initially commenced its operations in Cork in 1980 is situated only 1.5km east of the property. The tech giant expanded their operations in the area recently with the development of new state of the art facilities to cater for a 25% increase in their workforce.
