Killmihil, Killmihil, Clare

2 beds Detached House 1 bath

Dragon’s Nook is a traditional long cottage of the style found all over Co. Clare. The property is around 150 years old, maybe more. The roof was completely renewed about 12 years ago along with insulation in the loft . The plumbing and electricity wiring was completely renewed around 17 years ago. Oil fired central heating was fitted around 10 years ago.
The road to the property is surrounded by beautiful forestry pine and is a dead end, leading only to 3 houses (one of which is a small working farm)
The area is quiet, serene, out of the way, yet still only ~2 km from the village of Kilmihil, which itself is only about 15kim from the small town of Kilrush.
Also about 30 km from Ennis.

A large living / kitchen / dining room
A small back room that houses the central heating boiler
And an upstairs bathroom.

The large main bedroom also contains a large corner bath and shower and a separate walk in wardrobe room.
The large bedroom has also been recently dry-walled and fully insulated and ceiling lowered. This has made this room very cosy indeed. The two windows in this room were also recently replaced with double glazing.

The garden is wild – a veritable nature sanctuary that has huge potential, many mature Ash trees outline the property.
There is also a large barn structure to the rear which has suffered some damage in storms in the recent years, but the framework is solid and made of what seem to be train lines and thick telegraph pole type wood.

Continuing the outbuildings – there is a double ‘shed’ just across the road made of stone and curved tin roof and also a large garage, additional storage shed and what was once the pride of the property, a totally separate and modern office room.

The office, it is large enough for 3-4 people to com ...
