Proceed from the Kerrykeel direction to Kindrum passing through the small townland and turning left at the Celtic Cross on the left. Proceed on this road for approximately 0.75 mile turning right opposite a cluster of directional arrows with a stone farm building behind. Continue for just over 1 mile, passing a small lake on your left and a group of houses on the right, until you come to a right turn with our directional arrow. The site will then be found on the left hand side after about 150 metres. This fine site is located off the main road to Neil T Blaney Bridge which connects the Rosguill Peninsula to the Fanad Peninsula. Consequently access to Carrigart, Downings, etc. is approximately 10 minutes by car whilst in the opposite direction Portsalon is around the same distance. Both locations are favoured with holiday makers but Carrigart village offers more for local residents of the area.
