Downstairs, there is a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a cosy sitting room with doors outside. Guests have use of a shared front courtyard area, and also a private lawned garden. There is off road parking available. With so much within easy reach of The Granary, including the coastline of North Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and the historic city of Chester, this is a superb base for a family or romantic break throughout the year. Area The hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Clwydian Hills and lovely North Wales coastline. This hamlet in Flintshire is near to the small town of Caerwys, which has amenities including two pubs, a newsagent, butchers and tennis courts. Resorts local to Pen-y-Cefn include the seaside towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, with their family attractions and sandy beaches. The market town of Mold is a few miles away, as is the historic city of Chester, with its famous zoo, walls and excellent shopping. The area has plentiful walking, cycling and birdwatching, and is within easy reach of the rest of the North Wales coastline, Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park. Region Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls.
