The local Pub is within 3 minutes walk from the Cottage, a further 10 minute walk will take you to The Cross Village with a local Supermarket, 2 further pubs and 2 local Churches.

Other attractions in the area include, ODonnells Caslte, The Famine Graveyard, Donegal Franciscan Friary Ruins, Donegal Railway Heritage Centre, Donegal Golf Course and Donegal Craft Village.
Letterkenny the Commercial Capital of Donegal can also be reached within 20 minutes, not only filled with Bars, Restaurants and shopping venues, Letterkenny is the Hub of Donegal Tourism, yearly events include The Earagail Arts Festival, established in 1989, produces an annual programme of arts events to include theatre, music, visual arts, family activities, circus, comedy, workshops and more.

Climb on and off majestic steam locomotives or experience the sensation of flight in the Transport Museum bursting with horse drawn carriages, electric trams, motorbikes, fire-engines and vintage cars.
