We have created a restful retreat in the village of Killygordon that you can think of as your home away from home when you are in the Finn Valley area. We offer a 3 bedroom holiday cottage nestled in a mature Woodland Garden beside the River Finn, renowned by many fishing enthusiasts far and wide as the best salmon fishing river in Ireland. Whether you are visiting Donegal for a family holiday or a fishing retreat, consider us for your stay. Killygordon Killygordon is not only an Ideal place for Salmon Fishing It is also a perfect base for Visiting all the attractions that Donegal, Derry City, and Co Tyrone have to offer. The local Pub is within 3 minutes walk from the Cottage, a further 10 minute walk will take you to The Cross Village with a local Supermarket, 2 further pubs and 2 local Churches. Twin Towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar A 5 minute drive takes you to the Twin Towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar, where you can take a leisurely walk around the beautiful Drumboe Woods, play a round of Golf and enjoy the club facilities of the 18 hole Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Course, Pamper yourself with a visit to the 4 star Villa Rose V-Spa, attend one of the many Theatrical, Comedy or Music events at the State of the Art Balor Theater, enjoy a swimming or fitness session in The Finn Valley Athletic Center, or just spend an evening Wining and Dining and enjoying the Music and Craic at the many local Restaurants and Bars. Donegal Town Donegal Town is the Cultural and Heritage Tourist Capital of this beautiful County and can easily be reached in 20 minutes by car.
