A Homely Cottage
The ground floor of the cottage is open plan with kitchen, dining and sitting room areas. There are patio doors from the sitting room area opening onto a large decking area which hosts bench, table & chairs. This overlooks the owners vegetable garden and has all day sun. The large window from the kitchen looks out onto the surrounding mountains and countryside and the owners large garden which has a fish pond and many beautiful shrubs and flowers which are pleasing to the eye
On the first floor there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and room for a cot if necessary. The second bedroom has one double and one single bed with ample space to accommodate three persons. This cottage has been built by the current owners for comfort and a totally unwinding experience.
The cottage has a tranquil rural location and yet it's only a two minute drive to the local convenience shop, bar and restaurant and the local Catholic Church. The landscape around the cottage is excellent walking, hillwalking and cycling terrain, with something new and exciting to discover around every corner. The larger village of Kilmacrennan is 5 minute drive and town of Letterkenny approximately 10 minute drive. Lough Gartan with its adventure centre and the renowned Glebe Gallery are also within a 10 minute drive.
Glenveagh National Park
The holiday home is just 9km from the magnificent Glenveagh National Park. Glenveagh is the jewel in the crown of Donegal tourism.
