The medieval town of Kilkenny is a 30 minute drive away with lots of great bars and restaurants, and it's festivals. Close by is the popular seaport and city of Waterford with it's fabulous museum. Closer to home Ahenny High Crosses are only 10 minutes away cross country.
Fethard is also a fabulous medieval town nearby. A choice of places to eat, drink and shop as well as hosting several historical landmarks waiting to be discovered. The famous Greenway cycling and walking path is just a 25 minute drive away and the Blueway cycling walking path is only a 5 minute drive away.
