The setting of the holiday home on its own will engender a feeling of relaxation. It is situated on an elevated site overlooking the golden sands of Pothaw Beach. From the house, there are wonderful views over the beach and Lough Swilly towards the hills of the beautiful Fanad Peninsula.
The holiday home has been designed to take full advantage of the lovely views outside. On the first floor level, there are large windows in both the living area and the bedroom which offer panoramic sea views. Both rooms also have direct access to a balcony. The balcony has canopy cover and is furnished with table and chairs.
On the ground floor level, there are also large windows in the kitchen and dining area. There is direct access from the dining area out to the garden via double glass doors. The garden has herbs, fruit and vegetables growing that can be used in the kitchen. There is also a patio area with outdoor furniture.

With a location just 2.5 km north of Buncrana Town this holiday home has the best of both worlds - a tranquil beach side setting yet with all the benefits of a vibrant modern town a short distance away. Not only that, but it is also a central base to explore the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula and the historic Walled City of Derry.

Buncrana Beach House lies along the route of the Wild Atlantic Way. The visitor can use this scenic driving route to explore this ruggedly beautiful part of Ireland. The coastline around the holiday home is dotted with hidden coves, rocky headlands and outcrops which are home to a large variety of seabirds. The narrow winding coastal roads and inland mountain tracks also provide ideal walking terrain for the keen rambler
Some major tourist attractions and amenities within easy driving distance include the wonderful Famine Village on the Isle of Doagh, the Fort Dunree Military Museum, the Inishowen Maritime Museum and Planetarium in Greencastle and the superb Ballyliffin Golf Club.
