A Walkers/ Hill Walkers Paradise
The area around Creeslough is popular hill-walking country. There is a vast array of walking routes in nearby Ards Forest Park which has both forest trails and coastal walks as well as beautiful sandy beaches and picnic and the play areas.
Glenveagh National Park
For the more adventurous, the stunning mountains of Muckish and Errigal are nearby to enjoy a quick ramble or simply drive alongside and admire the views. Glenveagh National Park is a short drive away. This 16,000 hectare Park is home to wild deer and is well known for its rich collection of trees, flowers and shrubs and makes for a lovely family day out.
Wild Atlantic Way
There are numerous fine sandy beaches to enjoy; islands to explore ( daily ferry's to both Tory and Arranmore) and dramatic coastal drives including The Atlantic Drive and Horn Head.... perhaps even spot the Northern Lights. Fanad Lighthouse on the beautiful Fanad Peninsula is now open to the public and is just a short drive away.
