Circa 26 st acres of mixed use land located in very close proximity to Kilmihill village. There is street access and frontage to the road linking Kilmihill to the main Ennis/kilrush road (R484).
Part of the land at the village side of the holding (we estimate Circa 8 st acres) has been included as suitable for community development in the County Clare Development Plan 2017/2023. The remainder of the land is located outside the zoning boundary.
Kilmihil is a small quaint village in west Clare boasting a population of approximately 450 people. The village is located just about 15km from Kilrush, which is the main trading town in west Clare while Ennis town is approximately 32km. The beaches at Doonbeg, Quilty and Spanish Point are only a 20-minute drive away while Kilrush and Doonbeg Golf Courses are also easily accessible.
The village is well situated on the R484, just off the main Ennis to Kilrush road. Kilmihill has a comprehensive range of services, including a church, schools, GAA grounds, credit union, graveyard, petrol station, several public houses, a small supermarket and several other small retail outlets. St. Michael’s Community College serves post primary students from the village and its hinterland.
The subject lands are situated just off Church Street very much in the hub of the village.
