The subject site extends to approx. 1.53 acres ï´¾0.62 hectaresï´¿. The site is located at the junction of Woodlands and Rosemount Court in Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Cahir Town is located on the River Suir and is situated just to the south of Exit 10 on the M8 Motorway providing easy access to the wider motorway network. The town also benefits from being located on the Limerickâ€“Waterford regional railway line. Bus services to Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford also pass through the town.

This planning permission expired on the 16th October 2017 following an extension of duration of permission.
The site is zoned New Residential under the Cahir Local Area Plan 2011. That is, 'To provide for new residential development'
