Taking the N59 Galway - Clifden road, continue to Moycullen, Oughterard, Maam Cross, & Recess. At the old Recess Train Station, take the right onto the R344 and continue along this road for 15 minutes (14.7 km). At the junction, take a left back onto the N59, and continue through Letterfrack village towards Moyard. After passing the Ross League Manor Hotel on your right, take the next left turn signposted for Baunoge & Attirowertry, and continue along towards the end of this road, towards the hills.
