Dungloe is a charming town, known locally as 'The Capital of The Rosses', which has become recognised as a centre for traditional Irish music, with a selection of shops, bars and eateries. The area is a haven for fishermen, walkers and golfers with over 130 lakes and rivers, a variety of golf courses, and hills and mountains to explore. There are also daily boat trips from the harbour at Burtonport to Arranmore and Rutland Island.
