Snuggle up with a book in front of the wood-burner, challenge the family to a board game around the dining table or relax with a soak in the sumptuous master bathtub. The private courtyard is the perfect spot to savour a cup of tea or a cocktail in the sun. In the evenings, light the barbecue and enjoy an alfresco meal, gathering around the fire pit for toasted marshmallows when the air turns chilly. Host Susy goes above and beyond, providing everything you'll need, be it a complete dinner set and kitchen loaded with appliances and crockery to the luxury toiletries in the bathrooms. She can even arrange restaurant reservations and has a whole slew of recommendations, so you'll be in excellent hands. Home truths: *There's a sofa bed that can sleep two additional guests. *You'll want a car to explore further afield – there's private parking directly outside the cottage for two cars, which is a luxury in Stow. *If you're travelling with little ones, Susy can provide a high chair, travel cot, stair gates and children's tableware on request. *The king-sized bed in the second bedroom can be split into two twins if needed. *Small dogs may be allowed with prior agreement – please speak to the host for more information. *This home is set over two floors, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. .
