They consist of 6 charming renovated cottages in the courtyard of the beautiful Old Deanery House, which dates back to 1735 and is sorrounded by 7 acres of mature gardens. In total they sleep 27 guests and they are mainly 2 bedroomed except for one 3 bedroomed and one which just has 1 bedroom. For large groups taking up full occupancy, they can have use of the converted barn facilities for dining and entertainment purposes. It can seat 30 guests comfortably for sit down dining and many more if just for finger food etc. The Barn has seen many momentous occasions and uses: Birthday Parties, Hen/Stag Parties, Family Reunions, Wedding Vow Renewals, Photo Shoots, Recording Studio – the list goes on and on. If only these old walls could talk, what happy stories they would tell… We love to work with you to customise our space to make it your place. Don’t forget, The Barn is surrounded by acres of private gardens that are also at your disposal – so if the weather is friendly you can feel free to take things outdoors! And if the party goes on into the wee hours, you only have to skip (or trip) across the stone courtyard to one of our Holiday Cottages. We encourage guests to arrange their own catering, music and bar services – but are more than happy to be on hand for advice and connections.
