In the evening, the town is buzzing with energy, so sneak away for a cocktail, or hearty pub grub and a pint, if that's more your style. Back at home, your host has thought of every detail to make for a luxurious stay. Expect boutique hotel standards in the light-filled bedrooms - we're talking 100% Egyptian Cotton and mattresses fit for a queen (Hypnos beds hold the Royal Warrant, don't you know). While over in the living space, board games and a games console will keep kids entertained on drizzly days. But it's the bespoke concierge service that impresses us the most, with everything from a private chef or a picnic hamper, to babysitting or massage bookings - you need only ask. Home truths: *There’s a small private parking space – a rarity for a property in St Mawes – and further public parking available a few minutes walk from the property, which is £30 a week for one car *The second bedroom has zip and link beds which can be used as either two single beds or one king-sized bed *Your host Amanda is available to organise all manner of activities and experiences, but they won’t be included in the base price *Along with board games and a Ninendo Wii and Wii games, and a dressing up box for the little ones .
