The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers. Also to the north you will find the striking Cliffs of Moher, which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.
