Description(Reference number: 77682)
The pastel Victorian exterior of this historic Monterey home promises an elegant and equally beautiful interior – it does not disappoint. Light fills this lovely home, while beautiful wooden tables, cabinets, and window frames contribute to its refined air. Enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese out on the deck – we love how it continues as an extension of the dining room. The large kitchen is great for family feasts, but if you prefer something simpler, light up the grill and enjoy your barbecue around the fire pit table, a welcome source of warmth in the colder months. Upstairs, you’ll find well-appointed and comfortable bedrooms – the master has French doors that lead to a balcony with ocean views. With the coastal path, Monterey aquarium, and Carmel-by-the-sea all nearby, there’s plenty to do in the area, and of course you’ll have to make time for the complimentary wine tasting for two at Scheid Vineyard’s downtown tasting room – you’ll find the passes by the welcome beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
*Smaller, well-behaved pets may be allowed by the host for an additional fee
*Parking is available for one vehicle in the garage, while additional parking can be found on the street
*If you're planning to visit during warmer seasons, please note that the property does not have air conditioning, though there is usually an ocean breeze
*The king bed in the master bedroom can be rearranged as two twin beds on request
*At full occupancy, two guests can stay on a king bed (that can be reconfigured as a daybed and trundle) in the sleeping alcove at the top of the stairs – as it has no doors, it may be better suited to children
