Description

(Reference number: 160737) With a kitchen-dining space that’s lifted straight from the pages of a sleek design magazine and the rest of the interiors on the right side of kitsch, this eclectic home is a playful space in well-to-do West London. Filled with whimsical fabrics, intentionally clashing patterns and hand-selected antique furniture, your host has expertly made this place look and feel personal. To the rear of the house, there’s a contemporary casual seating area, illuminated by an all-glass skylight. Throw open the sliding doors and slink out into the tidy garden for a cup of tea or glass of wine in the fresh air. Get to know your North Kensington neighbourhood with a walk through the leafy streets. A short fifteen-minute amble takes you to laid-back Kensal Green, where you’ll find gastro pubs and a small collection of shops and cafes. The famous Portobello Road Market is a fifteen-minute stroll to the east and Ladbroke Grove tube station is just a minute more veering slightly south. Please note all stays of 10 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries. Home truths: *This home is spread over three floors with no internal lift. *There’s no air conditioning, but between June and September, your host will place fans in the bedrooms. *One dog lives here – he won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies. *The studio in the garden is not for guest use. *The homeowners have a pet fish – they ask that you take a moment every day or two to feed it. *The floorboards are rustic in style. *The homeowner's housekeeper will visit on Tuesday and Friday. *This is a well-loved home and so shows some signs of wear and tear. *There's adult-themed artwork here. *There's a thinner style of mattress in the second bedroom. A mattress topper can be provided if requested. *The lead guest must be at least 21 years old. *Your host requires you to sign a digital rental agreement prior to your stay for security and insurance purposes. They'll send this after the booking is confirmed. . Thinking of selling? We have the right buyers if you have the right property.
