Description(Reference number: 79220)
With ivy growing along the stone exterior, this traditional Cornish cottage looks pretty as a picture as you approach and you'll happy to hear that the interior doesn't disappoint, either. The host recently renovated the home, keeping some original features, such as bursts of exposed stonework and wooden beams, but the rest has been brought well and truly into the twenty-first century. The conservatory is a gloriously sunny spot for a long lunch, while there's also an enclosed garden with plenty of seating and rope swings for kids — or those who refuse to grow up. There's also a fire pit outside, but if you want to cosy up inside instead, the log-burning stove in the lounge has you covered. Although the property feels peaceful and secluded, it isn't in the middle of nowhere. Footpaths starting close to the house will get you to Trevallas Cove in just over half an hour on foot or Perranporth town centre in twenty.
*There's a large, fenced-off area for guest parking
*Pets are allowed, although dogs are not allowed upstairs — please use the baby gate to prevent them from doing so
*The lane leading up to the cottage can get muddy during the winter months and is unsuitable for very low sports cars
*Some of the beams in the kitchen and living room are only six foot and two inches high, so some taller guests might have to be careful
