It has four bedrooms including two king-size doubles, a double and a twin, two of them have en-suite facilities and there is a family bathroom, it can sleep eight people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with a dining area and woodburning stove and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is off road parking for three cars, a gravelled area with furniture and a front and side lawn with furniture. A fantastic cottage in a beautiful location. Area Invermoriston is situated just above the south end of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Great Glen. The village is famous for St. Columba's Well, and offers events like ceilidh nights in the village hall. The 73-mile long walking path, The Great Glen Way, passes through the village, and is just one of the many trails and walks awaiting visitors to this spot. Following the main road close to the village takes you to the Isle of Skye, or of course you could stay closer to home and do some monster-spotting, visit the ruins of the 16th century castle Urquhart, or enjoy the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre.The Caledonian Canal runs to Fort Augustus, offering lovely canalside walks. Note: Shop and pub is 11 minute walk, however, there is no footpath - care should be taken if walking along the main road, traveling by car may be more advisable.
