Both Carlisle and the Lake District are easily reached by car if you fancy a day out, though we're quite happy to while away our afternoons in Wetheral, exploring the countryside. Home truths: *This home is a maisonette set over the first and second floor – there are a number of steps to reach the entrance. *Guests will have a private entrance and will be able to self check-in via a lockbox. *You'll need a car to explore further afield – there's private parking for two vehicles. *The water pressure here isn't the strongest. *Expect to see some signs of general wear and tear here.
