Dudmire is a wonderfully large house, full of character waiting for you and your family to make fantastic holiday memories. Area Appleby-in-Westmorland is a market town and a civil parish in the county of Cumbria. It is home to a Grade I listed church, Appleby Castle, pubs and shops, and a train station. The Appleby Horse Fair was set up in 1685 and runs for a week in June ending on the 2nd Wednesday, it is world famous and the largest of its kind attracting a large gathering. Lying in a loop of the River Eden, overlooked by the Pennine range and being nearby to the Lake District Fells, this town is a great place to enjoy a break.
