Doonbeg Beach Cottage is a wonderfully cosy cottage located beside the Trump International Golf Club & Resort at Doonbeg. The cottage has stunning views of the famous Doonbeg Sand Dunes and surrounding countryside and is less than five minutes walk of the magnificent Doughmore Bay with its three kilometres of sandy beach, perfect for long relaxing walks, horse-riding and water sports.
The cottage location is the mid-point of the West Clare coastline and is within a 20 minute drive of Lahinch, Kilkee, the Loop Head Pennisula and the Killimer car ferry (running to and from North Kerry all year round). It is also only a 30 minute drive to the world-famous Cliffs of Moher and the hauntingly beautiful landscape of North Clare and the Burren.
The cottage is fitted to a high specification and furnished to an extremely comfortable standard with lovely interior design. The living area has an open plan design giving a great feeling of space but with the open fire and comfortable furnishings it is also a snug home away from home after an active day exploring the area. All rooms have views of the surrounding countryside whilst the dining table is situated at a large sliding patio door giving an unbeatable view of the sand-dunes, the golf links and the sunset while enjoying dinner.
The kitchen is fitted with all modern conveniences and there is a spacious utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer - perfect for dumping your outdoor gear after a day of adventure!
The sleeping accommodation consists of a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, also with an unbroken view of the dunes and golf links. There is capacity for a further one or two occupants on the futon in the living room. The bathroom has a large bath and an electric shower.
