Two miles away is Long Preston, a village in Malhamdale, which has food pubs and the railway station on the edge of the village provides access to the Settle-Carlisle Railway line. Wigglesworth is thirteen miles from Skipton and six miles from Settle. Settle is a town with a weekly market, the centre being dominated by the Shambles, an historic three-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above, and the Town Hall. There is restaurants and pubs here too. Wigglesworth is a great base.
