Description(Reference number: 79225)
Known for rugged white cliffs, ancient lighthouses and untamed coastlines, Flamborough Headland is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike the scenic trails, watch for wildlife along the coast – including garrets, puffins and seals – and relax on the pretty-as-a-postcard beaches. Just a fifteen-minute drive from Bridlington and twenty from Filey is the village of Flamborough, home to charming pubs, jaw-dropping coastal walks and this pet-friendly cottage. It's only a ten-minute walk into town and a short drive to the beach, but it offers plenty of peace and quiet for a family wanting a seaside getaway. When you're not out exploring, unwind in the cosy living room on the plush blue sofas. The vaulted ceilings and rustic wooden beams are a sight to behold – they transform the otherwise modern space into a rustic, cosy homestead. With two comfortable bedrooms, a stylish kitchen and a large living area, there's more than enough room here for a small group to be spread out. Rustle up home-cooked meals and share them around the dining table before snuggling up in the living room for a family film night. Outside, there's a barbecue and a picnic table if you'd like to dine alfresco or sip cocktails in the sunshine. And there's a shared garden, too, so both dogs and kids have heaps of space to run around.
*We suggest having a car here – there's free on-site parking for two vehicles
*A cot, toys and books can be provided for little ones
*The beams might be a bit low for taller guests
*There are four other cottages and a farmhouse on this property, which, depending on availability, can be rented together for larger groups – please speak to the host for more information
*There is a communal laundry room that is used by guests of all the cottages, as well as a shared garden
