We have a wide range of horses and ponies from 11hh- 17hh to suit all abilities (We have ponies ranging in height from 107-148 cm and our horses range in height from 149-165 cm). Packages can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Discounts are available for groups and regular bookings. A.I.R.E. and Failte Ireland Approved. Carrowholly Stables is approved by the Association of Irish Riders Establishments and is also approved by Failte Ireland. The centre caters for individuals, families and groups. Basic training and tuition are provided for beginners. Enjoyment and safety are the two priorities at Carrowholly Stables when dealing with customers, be it first time rider or the more experienced horse enthusiast. AccommodationWe offer our customers self catering accommodation as an extra option. This facility which is situated 1 kilometre from Carrowholly Stables and 4 kilometres from the Great Western Greenway consists of a four bedroom self catering apartment with magnificent views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Carrowholly which boasts a magnificent location between the shores of Clew Bay and the majestic mountain of Croagh Patrick is situated adjacent to Rosmoney Marina, Mayo Sailing Club, Glenans Sailing Club, and Westport Gold Club.In fact along with the horse riding facilities on site, there are also a host of other activities to be enjoyed in the sorrounding area i.e. golf, hill walking, surfing, to name but a few. The Westport area provides a thoroughly enjoyable holiday for all age groups.
