Description(Reference number: 76316)
Housed within an 18th-century palazzo, this apartment is how to do Rome in style. You’re a matter of steps (around twenty paces) from Via Condotti, the luxury-shop-lined boulevard that leads to the iconic Spanish Steps. In the surrounding streets, there’s an endless array of eateries serving slices of pizza, plates of carbonara and fine-dining under frescoed ceilings. The apartment is a monochrome dream, where a sleek black and white kitchen holds everything you need for an Italian coffee in the morning and dinner at night. The living room is calmer, in honey hues, and we love the quirky travel chest filled with coffee table books. While the bedrooms are back to black and white, the exposed stone of the old building in places adds a little sand-brown colour and reminds you that these walls have history.
*The kitchen doesn't have a tonne of appliances - there's no toaster or kettle
*The lift up to the apartment is pretty cramped, so the stairs would be better for those that don't like small spaces
*Guests 5, 6 and 7 will all be on pull-out beds
