Here we offer for sale a semi-derelict cottage located on an elevated site in the East Galway countryside close to the villages of Tynagh and Duniry and a 10 minute drive from the busy town of Loughrea. Galway City is a 40 minute drive and Shannon airport is an hour away. The cottage was originally built in the 1930s and has been unoccupied since 1996. The electricity has since been disconnected. Originally water was supplied from a rainwater tank but this is now gone and the purchasers will need to bore a well for water. The original septic tank is no longer fit for purpose and would have to be replaced. The interior of the cottage is in surprisingly good condition and the roof appears to be sound. Double glazed pvc windows were installed in the 1990s. There are some stone outbuildings but they are in need of extensive repair.
