DescriptionDanganella House is a late 18th century, square, two storey, detached, three-bay residence with a single-bay two-storey return. It has an attractive hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. It is set on a 1.06acre site.
The house faces south over the Doonbeg river valley. It has exposed rubble stone and rendered walls. There are timber sliding sash windows.
The house is currently unoccupied. The site has become quite overgrown. The interior of the house is dry but in need of modernisation and restoration works. There is a large outbuilding to the rear of the property that faces the road. The front door faces inland to the South away from the road. The property is a protected structure by Clare County Council
The house is recorded in Hugh Weir's "Houses of Clare" publication. He notes that the house was was oringally built by the Brew family
