Nancy to Nelly’s Walk: Nancy to Nelly’s Walk is Abbey is approximately 5.7 km from Clog Na Léinn, next to Fore Abbey, that honours the lifetime friendship between two women who lived on its path, Nancy McDermott and Nelly Dunne, who walked the path together as kids and as young women. Mullaghmeen Forest: If you are looking for walks and hikes a short duration from Clog Na Léinn, there is Mullaghmeen Forest, approximately 17.5 km away . Mullaghmeen Forest is the largest planted beech forest in Ireland. It is 400 ha of forest that includes beech, Sitka spruce, Scots pine and Noble fir and a very interesting native tree collection.
