Description
A detached four-bedroom bungalow with basement in the popular residential area of Carrabaun, within walking distance of Westport town. Highly sought-after for their convenient location, versatile accommodation and large gardens, offering the discerning purchaser a unique opportunity to maximise its potential by modernising and extending the property. (subject to planning permission). Location is excellent, being within a short walk of Westport town, with shopping facilities, bars, restaurants and coffee shops together with the highly regarded Primary and Secondary schools in the area. While the property will enjoy broad appeal as a detached family home, the accommodation may also appeal to a niche market with specific requirements for ground floor bedroom accommodation. Internally, the property offers generous accommodation with a living room situate to the front of the dwelling with a kitchen/dining area and a large utility room located at the rear, allowing access to the rear garden space. The property was built in the 1980’s, so some modernisation is required, however in recent years new PVC double glazed windows have been fitted and the roof was replaced. The remainder of the accommodation comprises a family bathroom, four good sized bedroom, all with built in wardrobes and the master bedroom has an Ensuite shower room. In addition, at basement level there is an additional space, currently laid out as two stores, which could be easily converted to suit a purchaser looking to work from home. This area has a separate driveway allowing a completely separate access to the basement level, which provides many alternative uses. Lawned gardens and tarmac drive all amalgamate to offer a fine property, which would make an ideal family home in close proximity to all essential amenities.
