Easy access is provided to the lands, given that they have direct road access off the local access road, running from the harbour to the western end of the island. We have undertaken informal pre-planning discussions with the local area Planner responsible within Mayo County Council and the Mayo County Council Planning department tell us that they have no specific policy with regard to residential development on Inishturk other than their standard policy for the construction of one off houses in rural areas.
