Description
DNG Martin O’Connor offer a unique opportunity to acquire this amazing 4 bedroom detached residence designed and built in 1979. Set within a secluded woodland site of 1.1 acres incorporating well-proportioned spacious living accommodation of circa 2,800 sq.ft. This property is one of the most unique properties to come to the market in the Moycullen area in recent times - it is truly a rare find. The area of Ballinahalla has always been considered to be among one of the more prestigious addresses in Moycullen and benefits from being within a short walking distance to the local GAA pitches and state of the art handball alley. The property is tucked away towards the end of a cul-de-sac and completely enclosed on all sides by mature trees. The exterior of the house has the immediate wow factor and although in need of some renovations this super property has the potential to become one of the finest homes in the area. The interior was designed around an acoustic element having been designed by a musician, the property is almost completely open plan on the ground floor with ceilings of different styles which eliminate echoes. The entrance hallway is bright and spacious with open gallery to above. To the left of the hallway there is an impressive living room with Irish Oak timber flooring, triple aspect window giving ever changing views of the woodlands and feature fireplace of local cut stone. The return staircase is a mix of timber and wrought iron with window on the return flooding light onto the space. To the left of the hallway an archway gives access to the kitchen/dining room. This is a great room with woodland views from all aspects and cleverly divided by a central chimney stack with raised open fireplace. Off the kitchen is a good size utility room with access to the rear gardens. The first floor comprises of 4 great sized double bedrooms. The two bedrooms to the front of the property are very spacious with exposed beams, floor to ceiling windows with doorway access onto a private balcony area. The other two roomy bedrooms are positioned to the rear of the property and a large family bathroom. Although this property is in need of some renovations and upgrading the uniqueness, location, woodland setting and price will certainly appeal to most.
