Description

No. 5 Cluain Craobh, built circa 2003/2004, is part of a small development of just 7 properties. The property is circa 500metres from the centre of Louisburgh, where all day to day amenities are available. It is also in close proximity to Bunowen beach, which is a 5-minute walk away and the playground is located directly across the road, one of the many reasons the property would make an ideal family/holiday home. Internally, the property is laid out over two floors and provides bright spacious accommodation. The kitchen/dining/living area is open plan, with patio doors leading on to an enclosed private garden to the rear. There is a utility room off. Also, at ground floor level is two bedrooms, one which has had a shower room fitted. At first floor level, there are two further bedrooms, both running from front to rear and both having ensuite shower rooms. Externally, the property is low maintenance with a tarmacadam driveway and off-street parking for two cars. The rear garden is enclosed by timber fencing and is fully enclosed with access provided via a timber gate. There is a small wooden shed to the rear and a further wooden shed which houses the oil tank. Louisburgh, which is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, is just a short walk from the property and the area is well known for its choice of Blue Flag beaches. Bunowen Beach is within easy reach of this property. At a glance, the property is deceivingly small, however internally the property provides ample space for a family to enjoy as a full time or holiday home. Location: Located as it is on the Atlantic coast, Louisburgh is famous for its wide range of unspoilt beaches, famed for their clean bathing waters and untainted sandy coves. Beaches in the Louisburgh area include Carramore, Old Head and Bertra, while beaches in nearby Killadoon have been rated as the best in Europe, i.e. Tallabawn (Silver Strand) and Dooaghtry. Leenane is approx 25 miles to the south of Louisburgh. Nearby Roonagh Pier, approx. 6 km from the town, is the departure point for ferries to Clare Island and Inishturk. Other beautiful scenic drives include going south to Connemara via Doolough and Leenane, north to Achill via Westport and Newport, or to Ballycastle and the Ceide Fields via Castlebar and Pontoon, or east to Tourmakeady and Lough Nafooey via Westport/Tourmakeady and Leenane. A short drive from Louisburgh is the famous Killary Fjord, a 9-mile-long inlet which boasts some of the finest scenery in the west of Ireland. If your passion is walking, climbing or just generally 'rambling', then Louisburgh is the perfect destination for you!
