Description
Bannon Auctioneers are delighted to present this charming mews house of distinction with lovely private rear garden. This house was one of the original showhouses when the development was launched in 2000 and has many distinctive features .Located in the magnificent Headfort Demesne and situated in the top right corner of the original courtyard this house was one of the ones chosen because of its sunny aspect to be converted into staff quarters for the staff of Headfort house in the early nineteenth century so you will notice that there is a yellow brick surround on the windows in this corner which is not in the rest of the yard properties. It has a bright sunny back garden with patio. This house is adjacent to the Headfort Golf Club and the prestigious Headfort private boarding school now located in the original Headfort House. Located just one mile from the town of Kells and only 45 minutes from Dublin Airport. The house is situated in the Main Courtyard which was the first yard to be refurbished in 1999. Overlooking the fabulous par Terre garden planted within the original walls of the yard , the garden was inspired by Lady Headfort who was fascinated by the art of Topiary and had all the chess pieces sculptured from the yew trees and scattered around her estate so because of this the original developers continued with her theme of board games and designed the four lavender beds into the shapes of the four card suits Hearts, Knaves, Clubs and Diamonds. Extending to C.1050sqft the accommodation comprises of Entrance Hallway, Sitting room, Dining Room, Kitchen, guest wc, 2 bedrooms, and 2 full ensuite bathrooms, with guest WC . Viewing is highly recommended. To arrange a viewing please contact Anne Bannon 087 2318677
