Location
Duleek is a small village less than 5 miles (8kms) south west of Drogheda in the valley of the river Nanny. Duleek is said to take its name from daimh liag, meaning house of stones, referring to the church of St. Cianan which, according to tradition, was one of the earliest stone churches to be built in Ireland.
