St Johns Point
St John's Point is a peninsula in south Co Donegal. It is located outside the village of Dunkineely and at seven miles is one of the longest peninsulas in Ireland. It boasts a beach called Coral Beach while a short walk from the beach is the tip of the peninsula which ofers stunning views across Donegal Bay, McSwynes Bay, over to the fishing port of Killybegs, as far as County Sligo and back inland too. The waters around the lighthouse at St John's Point are very popular with divers and reputed to be some of the clearest diving waters in Europe. Donegal Town is just 23km away.
