Skerries

Skerries is a seaside town with a village feel approx 31km from Dublin city centre. It is located in north county Dublin on the east coast. Skerries is a predominantly residential area due to its accessibility to Dublin city. Transport links include close proximity to the M1/M50, Dublin Bus and a train line to Dublin. Local amenities include beaches, pubs, restaurants (Joe Mays & Blue on the Harbour and Stoops are very popular), several supermarkets (Supervalu, Spar, Centra and Gerry’s local newsagent) and an 18 hole golf championship course. There are also plans for a small Hotel & Leisure Centre. For children there is a playground on the beach and nearby is Ardgillan Castle which has a large playground and scenic walks.
