Rossbeigh
Rossbeigh is a headland area of the Ring of Kerry on the Iveragh Peninsula. It is best known for its beach, which lies approximately 1.6km from the village of Glenbeigh. Rossbeigh is part of the Castlemaine Harbour Special Area of Conservation, Special Protection Area, and proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA). These organisations consider Rossbeigh an important habitat for flora and fauna and wish to preserve the area. Each year a horse racing festival takes place at the beach at the end of summer.
