Rathcormac
Rathcormac is a small town in north Cork. Located in the Blackwater Valley region, it is 8km south of Fermoy and 30km north west of Cork City. Previously situated on the main Cork to Dublin road (N8), it has been bypassed by the M8 since 2006 with the road through Main Street now the R639 regional road. Local amenities include four pubs, a supermarket, a tennis court, a children's playground, a number of take aways and restaurants, a beauticians and a community hall. There is also a GAA club, Bride Rovers, and a gun club.
